We recognise that such circumstances can significantly affect a person's financial situation and their ability to manage insurance matters.
Our commitment
We will treat all customers experiencing family or domestic violence with sensitivity, dignity, and respect. We will not disadvantage any customer because they are experiencing, or have experienced, family or domestic violence.
How we can help
If you are experiencing family or domestic violence and it is affecting your insurance arrangements, we can:
- Allow you to communicate with us in a way that is safe for you
- Protect your personal information and not disclose your contact details to other parties on your policy without your consent
- Make changes to policies, including removing a joint policy holder where permitted
- Waive or defer fees and charges where circumstances warrant
- Expedite claims where your safety or housing security is at risk
- Provide referrals to relevant support services
Confidentiality
Any information you share with us about your circumstances will be handled with strict confidentiality. We will only use this information to support you and will not share it without your consent, except where required by law.
